(with breakfast at 8:30 a.m.),

Monday, July 8 - Friday, July 12, 2019 at

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 640 South Orchard, in Ukiah.

Advance Registration is required,
in order to prepare well for the needs of the children attending the camp.

Links for registering your child
and for applying to volunteer are below.

Please plan on your child attending all five days of the camp.

Camp Noah is free, and is provided for children from the areas affected by the Redwood Complex fires of October 2017 who will graduate Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Spring of 2019, with highest priority being those children most affected.

The camp makes use of a well-renowned and high-quality curriculum designed to be universally accessible for children from all kinds of backgrounds.  The Camp Noah curriculum promotes resiliency skills and builds a sense of preparedness.  Although it does not present a religious perspective and does not include any kind of proselytizing, the camp makes use of the story of Noah as a means to help children learn resiliency and develop a sense of preparedness for disaster.  All spiritual traditions are honored at Camp. And, also importantly, it's fun!

The camp includes two meals daily and snacks.  The registration process includes opportunities to describe individual children's needs, including transportation needs.

Camp Noah is being coordinated locally by the Emotional and Spiritual Support Committee (ESSC),
of Mendocino-Rebuilding Our Community (M-ROC), with the assistance of the Ukiah United Methodist Church.

Camp Noah is being funded in Mendocino County by a grant from Mendocino Redwood Company's
Redwood Valley and Santa Rosa Community Recovery Fund,
(a corporate advised fund of the Community Foundation of Mendocino County).

Additional funding is being provided by the California/Nevada Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
ESSC is also very grateful for Holy Trinity Episcopal Church's donation of the use of their facility.
